Ayurvedic massage are part of the Ayurved medicine, the traditional medical system of India, that originated more than 5000 years ago. 

Ayurveda is, so far, the most ancient medical system known to humanity.

The word Ayurveda comes from two words: ayu which means life and veda which means knowledge.

Ayurveda recognizes that there are several levels of the reality: the gross world, which is formed of all those elements that are visibles, and the subtle world. The subtle world is made out of all those elements that cannot be seen or touched. Many of our diseases start to manifest in the subtle or energetic world.

The ayurvedic massage is beneficial for healthy people who want to prevent disease and for people who already have a health problem.
